Players are browsers, not accounts. You are identified by a fingerprint computed in your own browser and sent as an opaque hash — no sign-up, and no IP address is logged. Clearing site data or switching browser makes you a new player.

That also means the board is only as honest as its players: the hash is client-supplied, so it discourages casual double-voting rather than preventing determined stuffing. Bouts lock server-side the moment a result is entered, so nobody can pick a bout that has already been called.
